Both warnings are in place until Monday evening.

Met Éireann has issued a status orange rainfall warning for two counties, and an additional yellow warning for 10 counties. Per the orange one, Cork and Waterford can expect a spell of heavy rain over a 48-hour period from Saturday evening until Monday evening. The warning is valid from 6pm on Saturday 13 April until 6pm on Monday 15 April. According to Met Éireann: "In the 48-hour period from Saturday evening to Monday evening, a spell of heavy rain through Saturday night and Sunday, followed by a second spell of heavy rain later on Sunday night and Monday, will give large rainfall amounts." The warning goes on to note that flooding and hazardous driving conditions should be anticipated in many areas across the two affected counties. Rainfall amounts will be highest along the south coast and in mountainous areas. Also on Saturday evening, a status yellow rainfall warning was issued for 10 counties, with roughly the same conditions forecast for Galway, Mayo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Kilkenny, Clare, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary. The first warning, issued on Friday night, affects Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Kerry, with rainfall expected until 6pm on Sunday.
