Five-time world darts champion Eric Bristow will no longer be appearing on Sky Sports after the station announced that they "will not be using him in the future."
Bristow, who also has an MBE, sparked outrage by saying that those footballers who were sexually abused are 'wimps' and that darts players are somehow "tough guys" and "proper men".
After facing a impassive online backlash, he then offered this pitiful excuse for his actions, however, his explanation is not good enough for the executives at Sky.
