A man escaped an attempt on his life on Friday evening, emerging unharmed after shots were fired while he was sitting in his car in Swords in County Dublin.
According to the Gardaí, a number of shots were fired at a male who was sitting in his car shortly after 7pm on Friday evening.
Gardaí found what they believe to be the getaway car, a black Audi, on fire near Dublin Airport shortly afterwards.
They confirmed that no injuries occurred and that they are currently investigating the incident.
