Shocking images have shown the amount of plastic that was left at Slane Castle over the weekend.
Photos shared by My Waste Ireland show the sheer number of plastic bottles, plastic bags, and rubbish that had been discarded on the ground following Metallica's gig on Saturday night.
The group posted the photos on Twitter and called for a deposit refund scheme to be put in place after gigs and festivals in Ireland.

"Were you at Slane last week?" they wrote.
"We were sent these images of the aftermath and are in shock. This needs to stop, a deposit refund scheme needs to be put in place at all large outdoor events."
75,000 attended the gig on Saturday to see the band's first Irish concert in 10 years.
Some Twitter users pointed out that the rubbish had since been cleared, but My Waste Ireland said that the issue lay with organisers not being proactive about waste management ahead of big events.
"Gone but not forgotten," they wrote.
"Local authorities should have a deposit refund scheme in the permit, it may not solve the problem completely but it would show that they are being proactive rather than reactive."
Saturday's concert took place on World Ocean's Day.
