With the Leaving Cert being unconventional this year many students breathed a sigh of relief when receiving their results believing the stress of the last year to be over.
Now with many colleges hiking up CAO points on many of their courses, students have yet another thing to be concerned about.
Some courses which have seen an increase in required points include General Nursing in DCU, which has jumped 40 points from 414 last year to 454.
Law in Trinity has also increased to 566 points, up from 533 last year.
Those wishing to enter into Primary teaching have also seen a hike in St Pats, which is now 26 points higher than last year at 488.
While some students have already been given an offer during the first round many may also find themselves affected by this new increase in points.Explore more on these topics:
