I see that #penneys is trending on Irish twitter (Primark for the rest of ye) because their shops won’t be reopening on Monday. I cannot say this enough, DO NOT rush back to buy cheap, fast fashion. If you have any conscience about how people and our planet are treated

"Phase Two Plus", which we're entering from Monday, permits people to travel anywhere within their own county, or up to 20km from their home, where necessary. The new measures will also permit groups of no more than six to meet up outside or inside, while maintaining distance. Under this phase, all shops will be permitted to open from next week should they be able to adhere to social distancing measures and stop people from congregating outside stores. You can read more about the safety measures in place and the official statement from Penneys here.Am I the only person who feels ill at the thought of #Penneys reopening? I kind of hoped the virus would force them to shut their doors or at least to alter their ways ?it makes me sad that so many small businesses have had to close but this fast fashion giant thrives still
