New Zealand rugby star Sean Wainui has sadly passed away at only 25 years old after he was involved in a serious road collision. The All Black was killed in a single car crash near Tauranga in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty region on Monday morning. Leaving behind his wife Paige, and two children Kawariki and Arahia, the rugby player was on his way to making history in in the game. Already taking the first steps, he made Super Rugby history in June when he became the first player to score five tries in a match against the NSW Waratahs. Wainui made 44 Super Rugby appearances for the Chiefs, having previously spent two years with the Crusaders. He also played 10 games for the Maori All Blacks. Tributes have been pouring in for the late star, especially from those in the rugby world. "Our thoughts are with Sean and his whānau, particularly Paige, Kawariki and Arahia, and we offer them our full support at what is the most difficult of times.
