A status yellow weather warning for thundery downpours, strong winds and spot flooding has been issued by Met Éireann this morning covering most of Leinster, as well as other part of the country, which comes into effect this afternoon around starting around 2pm.
The warning lists wave overtopping, spot flooding, difficult travelling conditions and damage to temporary structures as some of the potential impact points of the weather this coming weekend, with the warnings in place for the most part until early Saturday morning.
