Last of the summer sun...

So lads, it looks like the decent weather is very much drawing to a close, as we bid farewell to the summer months.  Yep, the autumn climate is setting in, and next week, it will be pretty wet and cold for the most part. However, it seems as though we're in for a mini heatwave towards the end of the week, after quite a bit of rain. The Met Eireann forecast for next week reads: "Monday night will start largely dry with clear spells. Later cloud will increase from the west with rain or drizzle on west coasts by morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees with light westerly winds." "Tuesday will be a duller day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees in just light to moderate westerly breezes." "Tuesday night will see a few patches of rain or drizzle. Lowest temperatures around 10 to 13 degrees. Southwest winds will pick up towards morning." Lot's of drizzle coming our way, it seems. It looks like a spell of wet and windy weather will sweep across the country on Wednesday, clearing the east again later in the day. Temperatures will be between 16 and 19 degrees at highest." Okay so temperatures won't be too low, at least, according to Met Eireann. And it seems as though things will pick up towards the end of the week, and the last of the summer sun will make an appearance. "Current indications suggest that another spell of rain will affect parts of the country early on Thursday, with warmer weather following for later in the day and for Friday." "In this setup, temperatures on Friday will reach values between 20 and 25 degrees." End of summer BBQ, anyone?
