Earlier on Wednesday, a snow, wind and rain weather warning was issued for the entirety of Ireland for Friday.
The yellow weather warning is in place from 1am on Friday morning to 3pm on Friday afternoon.
Another yellow wind warning is currently in place for Ireland on Wednesday due to Storm Dudley.
An amber wind warning is also in place for Antrim and Derry on Wednesday, as the Met Office said it is expecting the storm to affect areas "later on Wednesday, bringing a period of strong and potentially disruptive winds."
The forecaster issued a weather advisory for all of Ireland regarding the upcoming storm stating it has the potential to be a "multi-hazard and disruptive event".
"Through Thursday night and Friday, Storm Eunice will track eastwards over Ireland," it said.
"It has the potential to be a multi-hazard and disruptive event with damaging winds, heavy rain and snow possible."Explore more on these topics:
