We are now entering into the last week of the election campaign, and the people at Right 2 Change will be marching in Dublin City Centre today to demonstrate their anger at the water charges fiasco, and the current government in general.
The massive demonstration will disrupt traffic in the city centre from 2pm today, so heavy traffic and diversions are to be expected.
The route is as follows: "Assemble Garden of Remembrance at 2pm
March along O'Connell Street and over O'Connell Bridge, right along South Quays and continue to Winetavern Street, left and up under Christchurch arch, left again and round into Dame Street. Right down to Central Bank area."
The marchers will be highlighting issues such as:
Water charges
Homelessness
Housing
Healthcare
Education
Debt
Low pay and low hour contracts
Austerity
Poverty
Deprivation
Inequality
Corruption
Bailouts
Cronyism
