The march will "commemorate Savita".

A march will take place in Dublin to mark Savita Halappanavar's 10th anniversary. ROSA confirmed the march will take place on October 29th at 1 pm. The march will start at the Garden of Remembrance and will end at the Dáil. The team said the aim of the march is "to commemorate Savita and say never again!" ROSA stated; "ROSA is proposing the idea of a march from the Garden of Remembrance to the Dáil at 1pm on Saturday 29 October, 10 years after the death of Savita Hallapanavar. The march is being held to "commemorate Savita" but to also "restate what we vowed following her death - 'Never Again.'" "The issues that flowed from Savita's death are still pressing. Repeal and the subsequent abortion law have been seminal achievements, but limits in the law and access are leaving people behind." ROSA will also be marching for health, equality, as well as body autonomy. Savita Halappanavar died at the age of 31 in 2012. She developed sepsis while miscarrying, but was denied an abortion. She had been denied a termination by doctors and told that Ireland was "a Catholic country." Following Savita's harrowing death, an inquest was held in 2013. An 11-person jury agreed unanimously that Savita died from a medical misadventure. After the Eighth Amendment was repealed in 2018, Savita's father Andanappa Yalagi, said that he "got justice" for his daughter. He told the Hindustan Times: "We’ve got justice for Savita.
