A 42-year-old man will appear in court tonight charged with the deaths of an elderly couple in Donegal earlier this week.
The man is due at Ballyshannon District Court at 9.30pm after the bodies of the couple, who are in their 70s, were found dead at their family home yesterday morning.
He was arrested yesterday and detained at Buncrana Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
