Kate and Gerry McCann have issued a new statement to mark their daughter Madeleine's 20th birthday.
The parents of the missing girl shared the message on Friday, May 12th, revealing that they will attend a small gathering to celebrate Maddie's birthday.
Maddie went missing in 2007 - when she was just three years old - while on a family holiday in Praia da Luz, Portugal. She vanished from her bedroom without a trace and has never been found.
Kate and Gerry have vowed they will never stop looking for her and believe that they will be reunited with her someday.
In their statement, the parents said: "Happy birthday Madeleine! We love you and we’re waiting for you. We’re never going to give up."
The caption under the video read: "Madeleine McCann is 20-years-old today. She’s still missing, still missed and we are never going to give up trying to find her."
Earlier this month, on the 16th anniversary of Maddie's disappearance, Kate and Gerry issued another plea to find their daughter.
They wrote: "Today marks the 16th anniversary of Madeleine’s abduction. Still missing…….still very much missed."
The heartbroken parents continued, "It is hard to find the words to convey how we feel."
Kate and Gerry also shared a poem by Clare Pollard that resonated with them.
They also confirmed the police investigation is ongoing.
"The police investigation continues, and we await a breakthrough," they added.
"Thank you to everyone for your support - it really helps," Kate and Gerry added.
