Lynn Egar's two children died in a car fire in September.
A woman accused of killing her two children in a Westmeath car fire is "too ill" for court.
Lynn Egar was charged with the deaths of her children Thelma and Michael Dennany. The siblings, aged just 5 and 2, were killed when the car they were in went on fire on September 9th.
The incident occurred at around 4 pm near Multyfarnham in Co. Westmeath.
Egar was also in the car at the time of the blaze, but emergency services removed her from the vehicle and rushed her to hospital.
48-year-old Egar was reportedly too unwell to appear before the court on October 27th.
She previously appeared before Judge Bernadette Owens at Mullingar District Court on September 22nd.
A sick note was presented ahead of the hearing on Thursday, October 27th. Egar's hearing was then postponed until November 24th because she was too ill to appear via video link, according to RTÉ.
It is now yet known if the illness is linked to the injuries she suffered in the fire.
Following the tragic incident, Egar was transported to a hospital in Dublin.
She was arrested and charged with the deaths of her two children a week and a half later.
Egar has been remanded in custody to the Dochas Centre, Mountjoy Prison.
Thelma and Michael Dennany were laid to rest together on September 15th.
