According to reports coming from Germany on Monday night, a lorry has crashed into shoppers at a Christmas market in Berlin, sparking fears of a terrorist attack.
However, a tragic accident has not been ruled out.
A number of local sources - the Berliner Zeitung newspaper and the Berliner Morgenpost - state that the truck crashed into the market close to Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.
