Irish Olympians Natalya Coyle and Arthur Lanigan O’Keeffe have officially tied the knot.
The two sportspeople who were once rivals said "I do", with the couple posting on their social media about the big day.
The two pentathletes represented Ireland at the London 2012 Olympics and the Rio 2016 game, and while it sounds like romance from day one, it was actually the complete opposite.
Sharing the news of the gorgeous wedding, Natalya posted the snaps on Instagram, with some showing off her stunning dress and one precious picture of the two kissing at the top of the altar.
Sharing the snaps, she wrote: "Husband & Wife. My heart couldn’t be more full. Celebrating with my closest friends & marrying the man of my dreams. I’m still trying to catch a breath after the weekend so I may be quiet for a little."
And she wasn't the only one basking in the happiness of the day, Arthur also posted some of his most memorable snaps from their big day, along with some bride and groom emojis.
The pair have been engaged since May of 2020 but it hasn't always been the love story we'd imagine, as the two didn't instantly fall in love when they first met, instead they were rivals.
Opening up about their romance, Natalya told The Sports Chronicle: "It was a friendship first. And then totally a rivalry, and then a friendship again. I had no one to compete against so watching what Arthur and the other guys were doing drove me on. We both understand there is one goal and there will be bumps on the road."
While Arthur added: "Not all days are good days but usually, we don’t have a bad day together. One of us can pick the other one up. Maybe I’ll drive to training or cook dinner, or the other way round."
Natalya flew to Tokyo for the 2020 Olympics, with Arthur completely in her corner this time rather than competing against her.
