"A few sunny spells too in the north and west. Highest temperatures 11 to 13 degrees. Southwest winds will freshen and heavier rain will return to the south and west this evening." And this is what tonight is looking like: "Heavy rain and southwest gales will quickly extend countrywide early tonight. Some severe gusts will occur in places - especially in the north and west. Rain will clear to frequent blustery showers overnight. Some showers squally with hail. Lowest temperatures 4 to 7 degrees." There's still a yellow wind warning in place for Connacht, Cavan, Donegal, Clare, Kerry and Limerick, with wind speeds between 55 to 65km/h and gusts of 90 to 110km/h. The weather warning is in place until 9am tomorrow morning.Mostly cloudy this morning w/ outbreaks of rain accompanied by drizzle & mist.
