The charity single in aid of those affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy in London has been released this morning.
A number of artists including Rita Ora, Pixie Lott, Ella Eyre, Stormzy and the members of One Direction as well as music legends Paul McCartney, Brian May and Roger Daltry, came together for the track, a reimagining of Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Stormy begins the track with a newly written verse:
"I don't know where to begin/So I'll start by saying I refuse to forget you/I refuse to be silenced/I refuse to neglect you."
The single was put together by Simon Cowell, who lives in Kensington, the London borough where the apartment block fire took place, reports the Telegraph.
“I was going to send a cheque but I thought we could do more," he said.
"That’s why we are making a record. It sends a message of support. We got this up and running in 48 hours. I spoke to all the major labels and they got back to me in an hour offering their support."
Choir master Gareth Malone also contributed to the track, which was recorded at Sarm Music Village, near the burnt out building London, over the weekend
The video for the single will be aired tonight on ITV at 7.30pm before Coronation Street.
