This week, we turn our attention to Kylie Minogue.
1. She has completely re-invented herself.
Kylie has been around since 1979, yes 1979 but over the years she has completely re-invented herself for her career. From her beginnings in Neighbours, she then moved to pop, from there to indie and back to pop again with the huge smash hit
Can't Get You Out of My Head. Minogue is now 45 but still manages to remain just as stunning and relevant as before. You just have to check out the Voice to be sure of that.

2. She has never called time on her career.
Despite a few years where Kylie was out of the limelight (just temporarily, mind you) she never gave up on her career. The songstress plugged away for a few years after her big hit with Nick Cave until she made a huge return with
Spinning Around and those gold shorts. Kylie has to date sold a whopping 65 million records. 65 MILLION!

3. She's just one heck of a lovely person.
Kylie is currently serving as a judge for the
Voice UK and is clearly winning hearts all over the country. Her upbeat attitude, the constant dancing and the way she interacts with the acts have firmly made her a household favourite. Funny, fiery and adorably petite Kylie is not just loved by viewers of the Voice but her fellow coaches, her piers and her family who constantly speak out about their favourite pop queen.

4. She beat cancer... and she has inspired others with her story.
Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 aged just 36. She was forced to postpone her
Showgirl tour and had to cancel her appearance at Glastonbury. She underwent chemotherapy treatment and minor surgery for the disease. She has spoken out about her diagnosis and encouraged others to get checked since she received the all-clear. Some doctors have gone so far as to declare that there is in fact a "Kylie effect" which encourages other women to get checked.

5. She helps a huge amount of charities.
Kylie's first appearance after the all clear from breast cancer was to visit a children's cancer ward at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital. Since then, she has worked tirelessly for various humanitarian campaigns like ChildLine, which she has pledged her support to along with the NSPCC, AIDS research, Wellbeing of Women and Fashion Target's Breast Cancer, for which she is an ambassador.
