An investigation has been launched after a number of shots were fired outside a Dublin school this afternoon.
Multiple shots were fired by a gunman outside Riversdale Community College in Blanchardstown before 4pm.
No one was injured in the shooting. The gunman is thought to have escaped on foot.
RTE reports that the shooting could be related to an ongoing feud in the area.
Gardaí believe the intended target of the shooting was a man who was waiting to collect a student from the school.
The scene has been preserved and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Blanchardstown Garda station.
