An image, tweeted by a man in Syria, which apparently depicts his seven-year-old son holding the severed human head of a Syrian soldier has been described as "barbaric".
According to the
Telegraph, the photo was posted by Khaled Sharrouf, Australia's most wanted terrorist. He fled to Syria last year with his family after he was sentenced to four years for plotting attacks in Melbourne and Sydney.
The photo was tweeted along with the caption which read "That's my boy!"

The Telegraph reports that other photos from the account include images of the father holding the human head while surrounded by three boys, believed to be aged four, six and seven.
The grandfather of the boy in question is said to be "devastated" by the photo and concerned for the welfare of his daughter, Tara Nettleton, the wife of Sharrouf, according to the Daily Mail.
Mr. Sharrouf is believed to be fighting with al-Qaeda off-shoot Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
