Eight people have been rescued from the top floor of a building in Dublin after a fire broke.
Eight fire engines from the Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene at Mountjoy Square and rescued eight people from the building, five of them were by turntable ladder.
Mountjoy Square North remains closed as emergency services deal with a building fire. People are advised to avoid the area.
There are not thought to be any serious injuries but a number of people have been brought to hospital as a precautionary measure.
