The Irish woman arrested for and charged with the murder of an Irish man in Padstow, New South Wales has been identified.
The 25-year-old woman who has been named as Cathrina Cahill, also known as Tina Cahill, has been charged with murdering her fiancé, who has been named as David Walsh.
It has been reported by RTÉ that the couple had become engaged just a few weeks ago. The incident occurred after a fight broke out at the couple's home. David sustained a stab wound to the neck and died at the scene.
Police have taken Cahill into custody, and she will appear before a court tomorrow. She has been refused bail.
