Cristiano Ronaldo has been with Georgina Rodríguez for nine years

Georgina, who is 31, confirmed the news by posting a photo of her ring to Instagram, writing: "Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives."

The couple has been together for nine years.

Their followers showered them with loving messages following the announcement.

One wrote, "Breathtaking. Huge congratulations!"

One added, "Congratulations…! My experience is that even after years together building a life and kids, marriage changes things for the better… what a blessing."

Everyone couldn't help but comment on the giant engagement ring Ronaldo proposed with.
