Irish social media star Charleen Murphy took to TikTok to reveal why she was kicked out of the VIP area at Coachella.
Charleen attended the first weekend of Coachella, also known as 'the influencer Olympics'.
The influencer travelled to the Californian desert with a group of friends, including Love Island star Lucinda Strafford.
Now that weekend one has wrapped up, Charleen has revealed she ran into a bit of trouble with security during the festival.
In her TikTok, Charleen recalled when she tried to sneak into the artist section without an artist pass.
“We met some of Lucinda’s friends in there, and they were like, ‘Let’s go into artists.’ There’s general access, VIP, and then there’s artist passes, which is one level up from that again. They were like, ‘Just come in with us and slide through the gate and sneak in,’” Charleen began.

“Lucinda went first with one of the girls, and she got in no problem. I was like, ‘Okay, fine, I’ll slide in as well.’ Obviously, I get booted out,” she explained.
“The [security] man reefed me out and was like, ‘Get out!’ He said something really cheeky to me. I can’t remember what it was, but it was just uncalled for. I know I was sneaking in, but it was just mean, whatever he said.
“Then I was like, ‘Well, by the way, you need to tighten up on your security because my other friend just got in,’ and he was like, ‘Yeah, and she’ll be out with you in a second now.’ He was so rude,” Charleen continued.
“Maybe it was called for because I sneaked in, but he did say something cheeky before I said something cheeky back. Lucinda then came out. She obviously wasn’t going to leave me by myself, and then back to VIP we go,” Charleen exclaimed.
Charleen went on to admit she thought she might even get kicked out of the festival.
“I thought originally I was getting kicked out of the whole festival, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe I’m getting kicked out before Justin Bieber is even on!’ But anyway, I got to stay,” she confirmed, referring to Saturday’s headline act at Coachella.
Later in her video, Charleen reflected on her overall experience at the festival and responded to claims that the crowds were “unenthusiastic.”
Describing her time at Coachella as “a ball”, Charleen said: “As a whole in general, I definitely would go back. A festival is what you make it, I think.”
She added: “It’s who you’re with as a group. It’s your crowd, I don’t care about anyone else who is there. I don’t care if they’re dancing or not. Obviously, it gets the energy up, but so long as me and my friends are singing and dancing and having a ball, I don’t really care about the people around me not doing that.”
