Pokémon was recently listed as one of the buildings major tenants and will occupy two floors of the new Central Plaza.
According to The Irish Times the Pokemon Company has purchased 5,000 square metres of space across the third and fourth floors of Central Plaza.
As the redevelopment of the Central Bank to Central Plaza is still underway it is currently unknown when exactly the Pokémon Company will move into the premises.
What we do know is that Nintendo seem to be buying up more property in Europe and have their eyes on Ireland, so we could see even more headquarters popping up around the country.

Another large business that also plans to set up shop at Central Plaza is Krispy Kreme who a couple of months ago announced their intention to its second Irish doughnut outlet at the development.
All and all Central Plaza is shaping up to be a very interesting development and I for one am looking forward to eating a Krispy Kreme donut while playing Pokémon Go at the rooftop bar which apparently will have 360-degree views of the city extending as far as Phoenix Park, Howth Head and the Wicklow Mountains.Explore more on these topics:
