The new programme was originally due to to air at the beginning of April but in light of school closures, the start date was brought forward. Set in 1940s UK with the beautiful Cornish landscape a major theme, the series allows for true escapism and that's exactly what we need right now. "People should watch it because it brings a classic, much-loved book to life and, although it takes place in post-war Britain, it still covers current issues that people can relate to".Plus it's a true dose of nostalgia for anyone who read the books as a child, we can't wait to get stuck in!
