Family, friends, and fans immediately flooded the comments with heartfelt messages wishing Bella well.
Bella's sister, Gigi Hadid, urged her to 'stay strong', while their mum, Yolanda Hadid, called her daughter a 'Lyme warrior', alluding to the illness.
Bella suffers from Lyme disease, a bacterial infection which is passed on by tick bites.
Even though not all ticks carry the infection, it remains very important to be aware of the tiny creatures when out and about in grassy, bushy and wooded areas.
Lyme disease typically doesn't manifest itself until a few weeks or even months after the infected bite. Key symptoms often include an oval-shaped rash around the bite area, as well as feeling feverish.
The earlier the condition is caught, the more effective the treatment will be.
This might not be the first time you're reading about a celebrity suffering from the disease, as other celebrities, including Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and Avril Lavigne, to name a few, all suffer from the illness.
Bella had previously opened up about how the condition has impacted her, saying that the pain caused by the illness leaves her struggling to execute simple everyday tasks.
She told Vogue in May: "It’s hard to take a shower most days, which I promise guys, if you’re reading this, I shower every day.
"But sometimes, if I have one day off, if I can get in the shower and make myself breakfast, I see that as an accomplishment."
