The serving Metropolitan police officer arrested in connection with the disappearance of Sarah Everard was not on duty when she went missing. The man was arrested at an address in Kent and has since been taken to a London police station, where he remains in custody. A woman has also been arrested at the same location on suspicion of assisting an offender.
