Ireland could be about to bear the brunt of another storm in the coming days, a storm with arguably the least threatening name in the history of storms.
After Storm Barbara and Storm Conor made their presence felt in these parts over Christmas, Storm Doris is currently making its way across the Atlantic and could hit Ireland with winds of up to 100 km/h.
Met Éireann have already issued a status yellow wind warning for Ireland, valid until 6am on Friday morning.
While the wind will ease somewhat on Friday, there will be heavy rain and even snow in areas of higher ground on Friday night, with temperatures set to plummet to as low as -5 degrees on Saturday night.
Sunday isn’t going to be much better with rain and sleet showers, highest temperatures of five to seven degrees and frost set to develop on Sunday night.
Might be best not to venture outside at all this weekend.
