A man in his mid-30s has been arrested in relation to a serious assault on four children the happened on Friday night in the town of Blainroe, Co. Wicklow.
According to
RTÉ, Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene just after 7.30pm after the alarm was raised and found the four children in a serious condition after the attack.
All four children (two boys and two girls) are now in Tallaght Hospital, two of which were in such a serious condition that they had to be airlifted there.
They are aged between 3 and 11 years old and the man is currently at Wicklow Garda Station.
