Six people were killed after a man drove his car into crowds at a parade earlier this week.

8-year-old Jackson Sparks has been named as the latest victim of the fatal Christmas parade crash in Wisconsin, the New York Post reports. Jackson was killed in the incident which saw a man drive an SUV into crowds in suburban Milwaukee. The boy's death was announced on a GoFundMe, which had been set up by his family. The page's organiser Alysa Albro wrote: "This afternoon, our dear Jackson has sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away." Five other people between the ages of 52 to 81 were killed in the incident. They are: Tamara Durand (52),  Jane Kulich (52), Virginia Sorenson (79), Wilhelm Hospel (81) and LeAnn Owen (71). Over 60 were injured. One man, Darrell Brooks Junior, has been charged with five counts of first degree intentional homicide. Waukesha County District Attorney Susan Opper has said that additional charges against Mr Brooks will be coming either this week or next week. According to the criminal complaint, Brooks steered his car from side to side with the intention of hitting attendees at the parade. During his court hearing, Waukesha Court Commissioner described the nature of Brooks' offence as "shocking". His bail has been set at $5 million (over €4.4 million) and a preliminary hearing has been arranged for 14 January. If he is convicted, he could receive a life sentence. On Monday night, hundreds of people gathered in Waukesha and held a candlelight vigil commemorating those who passed away in the crash.
