On Friday, a boy was stabbed to death in Leeds in the UK.
A 16-year-old schoolboy sadly died while on his walk home from school
According to
Metro, the boy had left school and was on his way home when he was stabbed by a 15-year-old.
At 3.40pm on Friday, police found the schoolboy with a stab wound and bleeding in a lane, where they rushed him to hospital.
While at the hospital for treatment, the 16-year-old sadly died from his injuries.
Detective Superintendent Pat Twiggs of the local police department said it was possible there were witnesses with video footage on mobile phones:
"I am appealing directly to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help our inquiries to come forward.
"It is also possible that people may have recorded footage on their mobile phones and I would again encourage those people to come forward."
