A 16-year-old boy has died following a car accident in Co Carlow.
The teenager was killed when the car he was driving collided with a wall near The Nine Stones, Mount Leinster in Borris early this morning.
The 16-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
RTE reports that four others teenagers were injured in the crash, with one boy said to be in a serious condition. All four were taken to to St Luke's Hospital and Waterford University Hospital.
The road has been closed since the collision occurred just after 5am this morning.
