Animated film Frozen, complete with Disney princesses and a talking snowman, was inspired by classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy-tale The Snow Queen, but one woman has a completely different belief.
Isabella Tanikumi claims the film is based on her autobiography, an account of how she grew up in Peru... (and no, we're not seeing any similarities either).
The author is claiming Disney copied her story and turned it into
Frozen, only the highest grossing animated picture OF ALL TIME.
Isabella is reportedly suing the movie's producers for $250 million, according to
TMZ. Her autobiography, entitled
Yearnings of a Heart, has been described as "endearing and heartwrenching".
Amazon describe the book as taking the reader on a journey through "the ruins of earthquake-ravaged Huaraz, Peru to the shores of the land of opportunity, America, Isabella Tanikumi’s poignant account embodies the real-life drama of a young girl’s struggle to create her destiny".
Some might say it's time for her to let it go...
