A woman from Tennessee was arrested by police after she played an April Fools’ Day joke on her sister.
But let’s just say it wasn’t a little white lie as you’d expect on April 1st, Susan Tammy Hudson told her sibling Helen that she had killed her husband.
She explained to WKPT: “I was doing an April Fools’ Joke. I said, ‘Helen I shot my husband, I’m cleaning up the mess, let’s go bury him in Blackwater.’”
Unfortunately for Susan her sister didn't pick up on the funny side and the prank didn’t stop there. Another relative apparently called the police who then arrested her.
According to the media they later released her without any charge when they found out the truth.
Looking on the bright side, Susan told reporters that the response of the local authorities “was excellent.”
The police arrested Susan when they received a call from one of her relatives.
