Another Friday rolls around! Here are ten things that put a smile on our faces this week…

Closer Each Day, Home and Away...
Cathy is extremely happy that Home and Away has made a return to our screen this week. A habit from college days and the fact that she just wants to live on a beach with the Braxtons, her summer just wasn't the same without it!
New York, New York
Her.ie Editor Michelle has been glued to NYFW coverage this week and has made it one of her life ambitions to get to the famous Lincoln centre runways before she dies. New York is already her favourite place in the world, so it seems only fair. Heidi Klum tweeted her back only a couple of weeks ago, so Michelle figures it's only a matter of time before they’re besties and she can ride on Heidi’s coattails. Whatever it takes…

All Wrapped Up
This week
Grace left the capital to venture back home across the border. Although she is a self-confessed ‘hater’ of shopping, she did manage to pay Victoria Square Shopping Centre in Belfast a wee visit, in particular House of Fraser, to “invest” in a winter coat. The winter coat is the staple piece in every woman’s wardrobe and this week Grace finds herself loving Karen Millen, and we can completely understand why.
Beanbag Party
This week Úna managed to convince colleague Cathy to join her in the beanbag corner of the office. Equipped with tea and books, it’s the perfect place to relax on your lunch break. She’s now determined to convert everyone into beanbag-loving bookworms.

On the Fringes...
It is always nice to see a big festival taking over the capital city, and the Fringe Festival is no exception. While there are a wealth of things to choose from,
Sue has picked The Games People Play which will run at the New Theatre in Temple Bar next week. The play is a reworking of the old Tir na nOg myth which will focus on the negative equity generation. Tickets for the event, and others are available on
fringefest.com.
Feeling the chill?
“I’m probably the only person in the country but I have to admit I am sort of glad to see the arrival of the colder weather,” says
Rebecca. “I just love layering and living in my boots. Also, it means Christmas is coming. I know it’s way too early but I don’t care, I’ve started my shopping already!”
All the Pretty Things
Michelle’s first purchase from Irish website Coldlilies.com arrived this week, a gorgeous gold star bracelet from Irish designer Chupi Sweetman-Pell. We’ve all become mildly obsessed with this site lately, and the Santa wishlist has already started…

New Shoes?
Sue claims on a constant basis now that Harry Styles is stealing her style, but it might be the other way round if her new boots from Dune are anything to go by. They are her new prized possession. We all approve.
Chocaholics Anonymous
The Cadbury bars that came into the office were a hit with our resident chocoholic
Rebecca who loves the classic Dairy Milk. “Everyone knows Dairy Milk is the only bar for me but I have to admit I also enjoyed the Tiffin and Golden Crisp bars. Might have to rethink by options!”
