Welcome to the Weekend!
Another Friday rolls around! We’re hoping you enjoyed the four day week and have some big plans in place for the weekend – here are ten things that put a smile on our faces this week…

Stooshe
We’ve been listening to the debut album from these ladies in the office this week. Track number 11, Perfectly Wrong, is our favourite so far, but the whole album is a cracker.
Marcus has the X Factor
Rebecca met and interviewed former X Factor star Marcus Collins who will be in Hairspray in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre this summer. Not only does he love Nandos (like us all) but our gal Rebecca reports that he was just lovely to talk to. We love it when they’re nice…

Chris P. Bacon
This week Amy is loving the latest video of online celebrity Chris P. Bacon. This not-so-little piggy was born with a congenital defect which means that he can’t use his hind legs. Luckily for Chris P. a kind-hearted vet adopted him and gave him a set of wheels to help him get around. Chris was tiny when he appeared in his first YouTube video but over the weeks he’s grown and grown! We think it’s great to see Chris P. living a happy life despite his disability.
Big & Bouncy Hair
Rebecca’s loving the John Frieda Luxurious Volume range. She says: “Unlike some other products it doesn't leave your hair feeling or looking greasy and you don't have to spend half an hour styling either which is great for me because I never have enough time in the morning!”
Suits You Sir
This week, Sue wasn't particularly delighted about Hangover Part III but she was really, really happy that Bradley Cooper that was back on the big screen... in a suit. Twice.

Port of Call
This week Denise jetted off to Portugal to visit the city of Porto and the wine valleys of the Douro with discovertheorigin.co.uk. Ask her absolutely anything about port wines now and she should know! Well, we hope...
It was tough enough to limit the photos to just a few, but stay tuned for a travel feature on the best of what's to see and do in Portugal's Douro region...
Sailing… we are sailing…
Ahoy matey! This week Denise and Rebecca tested their sealegs and had an exclusive visit to two cruise ships with Thomas Cook Ireland.
Rebecca spent the day on the P&O Adonia, a cruise ship with a "relaxing, old-worldly feel" and Denise joined the crew on the luxurious Celebrity Infinity. She was only sorry she didn't bring her bikini with her... Hopping into the outdoor jacuzzi was too tempting!

John Hughes Season at the Lighthouse Cinema
Michelle was uber-excited this week to hear about the John Hughes season at the Lighthouse Cinema. The man responsible for such classics as Weird Science, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Planes, Trains and Automobiles is a cinematic legend, so we're very excited about seeing the 80's classics on the big screen again.
