Welcome to the Weekend!
It’s been a big week for Her.ie, more of you lovely readers have visited us than any other week in our short life so far. Thanks for that! You’re all legends, and we appreciate it very much. Here are some of the other things that made us happy this week…
Give Peas a Chance
Bum-p It Up
Rebecca has all of the love for the new Penneys Bum Pads this week. Seriously. As she says, "I don't see why bums should be discriminated against in the underwear world. Boobs get to avail of padded bras which are an equally great invention. Not everyone's blessed with a backside like J.Lo's you know!" Fair point!

Say Cheese
If, like us, you’re guilty of letting your pictures live on Facebook and in folders on your computer – you need to get yourself one of these. We were given a Canon SELPHY CP900 to review and we were very sad to hand it back. The SELPHY is so dinky and neat you’d barely know it was there, but you can have your favourite snaps printed out in seconds from the comfort of your couch, instead of swearing to. Stick them on a USB, choose the ones you want to print, and your precious memories are right there for the album, the frame or the wall.

Body Beautiful
We’ve mentioned once or twice that we’re big fans of Roger & Gallet. This week we got our hands on some of the products from the new Fleur de Figuier range and the second we took a sniff our noses went on holidays. The rest of us stayed here to type. From fig trees that grow in the Massif de l’Esterel, the scent is fresh, sweet and fruity, and we’re loving it. Now we have to fight over who gets to take this home…
Sporty Ride?
Her.ie editor Michelle is sporting these wheels for the week, and there’s a good chance she’ll cry when she has to hand the keys back on Monday. The Toyota GT 86 is pretty far removed from every other car she’s sat behind the wheel of so she’s been taking it for special drives every night this week. For the weekend it’s bringing her to Clare so she can show it off to her mam and dad. Real mature, we know.
Guilty pleasures
After WEEKS we finally got our girl Sue to admit she had an embarrassing crush. The rest of us fessed up weeks ago, but she was still holding out and pretending she was way too cool for that. A likely story. Then, earlier this week, she let it slip that she fancied this man. Scarlet for her.

Olympus Has Fallen
If you’re headed for the cinema this weekend, Sue recommends this one. Trust us, her taste in movies is nowhere near as questionable as her taste in men.
Agent Provocateur
They’re not just for knickers you know… The famous luxury lingerie brand launched their first fragrance back in 2000 and Pétale Noir is the latest addition to the range. The deep floral scent is quite the sexy spray, and the pretty bottle is something we’d be very happy to display on a dressing table. Our girl Amy is a fan and is adding this one to her collection.
Cry Monster Cry
This week's office jam also comes from Amy. We’re absolutely loving the work of Richie and Jamie Martin, also known as Cry Monster Cry. The brothers, who are from Dublin, have been making waves on the Irish music scene with their unique blend of rich harmonies and fantastic song writing. We predict big things for them so definitely head to one of their shows if you get a chance. For more information about Cry Monster Cry, check out their website.
Ah go on, go on, go on…
We had a lot of fun this week making lists. We like lists. That's why this piece is a list. These are three of our favourites.
Ten things Irish people find it impossible to say – Read it here.
Twelve things Irish people do in airports – Read it here.
Ten female problems men will never understand – Read it here.
