Bookworm Beauties 

How beautiful are these books? Stunning new versions of the classics, these novels from ROADS Publishing are the brainchild of Dublin woman Danielle Ryan. They can be found in good bookstores nationwide now, and they’re also on the way to the very exclusive Barney’s in New York City. Gorgeous. 

Baking Mad!

This week Úna baked a big apple pie for herself and her other half. Though the pie tasted great, the kitchen was a state after she finished! If anyone’s interested in cleaning the flour off the floor please let her know.

Makes Scents 

This week Sue was all about the treats. When she attended the screening for Blue Jasmine this week, Warner Brothers were kind enough to give her a bottle of the new Armani perfume Si, which Cate Blanchett is the face of.

How Charming

Rebecca is on her well-deserved holidays this week, so chances are she’s currently diving off the coast of Egypt somewhere – lucky sod! We’re pretty sure this is what she’s chose as her favourite thing this week though, as right before she headed off she got her hands on a new PANDORA bangle. It’s quite beautiful….

Cathy's had a croissant obsession this week. Almond, chocolate or plain - she loves them all equally. Cathy is tipping The Fumbally Café as the perfect place to indulge. It might not be beautiful Paris, but it will do for now...

Bag It Up 

Last week Michelle sat down with John Camuto of design house Vince Camuto. The brand is known for its divine bags and shoes, happy surroundings for any woman to chat in. John was on a visit to Arnotts, where you can find divine Vince Camuto creations. Michelle fell for the Lexi backpack style bag, which she’s now proudly sporting. Christmas in September

It might seem like an age away now, but this week we met with some of our favourite beauty brand to talk Christmas. Believe it or not, we’re all planning our features about the festive season already. This week we caught up with our pals at LUSH to check out what’s on the way. As a result, our office smells amazing.

 

 

Lacy Lady at Oasis

Our editor Michelle visited the team at Oasis Ireland this week to check out their autumn/winter offerings, and came away raving about the collection. Dresses, knits, leathers, jewels – you name it, Oasis has it. This lacy jumpsuit was a big talking point at the press day. It also comes in a black version, which Michelle has already placed on her Christmas list.

  

 

Frosty The Snowman

This week, a little bit of Christmas came to the Her.ie office, and Grace couldn't have been happier. The lovely folk over at The Body Shop sent in a stack of lovely Christmas gift sets. Grace nabbed the shea butter set, mainly because she loved the festive tin. Shea butter is exactly what the skin doctor order as the drop in temperature has her skin feeling a little dry and irritated. Plus, Grace needed some form of 'man' in her life to love other than her father... this Snowman has gone to a good home.
