Another Friday rolls around! Here are ten things that put a smile on our faces this week…

Pucker Up
We got our hands on the full range of shades in the fab Moisture Renew Lipsticks collection from RIMMEL London this week, and we’re somewhat in love. (Yes, we know how lucky we are). The range consists of thirteen shades, all rich in colour and boasting a formula that stays creamy soft on your lips for hours. Delicious. The lipsticks will be hitting stores in October, priced at €7.99 and come with a hearty recommendation from all of us here. Now, anyone for a shift?!

Yippie Ki-Ya Motherf*ckers!
Her.ie Editor Michelle headed to the Jameson Cult Film Club this week and renewed her love for 80s movies and young(er) Bruce Willis. The JCFC nights are invariably epic, but the addition of a Christmas tree and a DJ spinning some amazing Christmas tunes made this one her favourite to date. Michelle advises you do yourself a favour and sign up here so you could win tickets to the next one. She’ll see you there!

Bake Off Bounty
Regular readers may have noticed by now that Rebecca has a real sweet tooth, so you can imagine how excited she was when cupcakes arrived into the office. "I especially liked the cupcakes sent in from Flavours.ie because the icing wasn't too sweet. In fact I had two for that very reason! Please don't judge me." The cupcakes marked the beginning The Great Irish Bake Off, which Rebecca says will no doubt get her baking juices flowing. Happy news for everyone else in the office…

Feelin’ hot hot hot…
The days may be getting colder but for Úna, she sees this as a prime opportunity to bring out the hot water bottle. Teamed up with her red onesie, she finds that the winter season isn’t all that bad! Who doesn’t like a toasty bed?

Vive la France!
Sue is off on her holliers this week, so we’re just guessing that what she loves at the minute is most likely France. Sue, if you’re reading this – we miss you. Also, bring us back some wine and cheese. Sound.

Appletini, easy on the tini?
Considering herself somewhat of a cocktail connoisseur, Cathy headed to Capitol Lounge this week where there are heaps of tasty cocktails on offer at great prices too. (We've all checked - she's right). Perfect for a night out with the girls or a quick catch up after work, this is fast becoming one of Cathy's capital hot spots.

Putting the boot in
There are few things Her.ie gal Grace likes shopping for, but one thing she can be sure never changes in size, is her feet, (or her cup size, but she'd rather not get in to that).
This week Grace made yet another 'winter investment', this time round it was a pair of boots fit for a Princess, (as long as she is a Size 7, that is). The Dune black heeled over the knee boot, to be specific… and she loves them so much, she's "saving them for good wear."
Not too high, as Grace already has gravity issues. Good ol' reliable leather, as she'd never last in suede. Not too much over the knee either, as no matter how hard she tried, she could never pull off a Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman look.

Reboot
Grace wasn’t the only one thinking about winter footwear this week. "I decided to purchase a new pair of boots for winter which I just LOVE. They're from Office and they're so soft I could sleep on them," says Rebecca. "And they go with anything which makes them even better and totally worth the splurge."

Tune In and Tasting Good
Food and music – two of our favourite things – are set to be combined this coming week at Peperina Garden Bistro in Ranelagh. Kammerpop, a classical, jazz and pop music ensemble will be performing at an exciting event set to celebrate popular Peperina’s brand new autumn menu. With prices starting at just €19.50 for two tasty Early Bird courses, Kammerpop at Peperina Garden Bistro is looking like a great, value for money evening out. An outdoor heated terrace and herb garden will ensure you can grab a scrumptious meal while taking in the fantastic atmosphere on what promises to be a great evening out.

Looking Ruff
Our pals over at 2fm were calling for listeners to send in snaps of their pet pooches in county colours ahead of the All Ireland football finals this weekend, and we LOVED the result. We’re all attempting this with our family pets this weekend, reports to follow next week…
