Where in the world would you find grown men and women take to the streets with their office chairs in tow to race for adoring crowds? Kerry, that's where.
The Kingdom knows how to rally around for a good cause, quite literally.
Tralee Chamber Alliance organised its second ever 'Office Chair Race' over the weekend. Yes, that's right, the people of Tralee closed off their main shopping street on Saturday to let adults push themselves around in chairs with their feet to raise funds for a chosen charity.
Like all good sporting activities, rules apply - All chairs must have wheels, competitors were to ensure bottoms remained firmly on seats and legs were only to be used to propel themselves forward towards the finish line.
The competition had six heats and featured 18 local business people and elected representatives, including Martin Ferris and Michael Healy Rae.
This video, uploaded by Dermot Crean of Tralee Today, shows just what the other 31 counties are missing out on...
We're considering challenging JOEto an in-office chair-off.
