This week, an adorable baby otter was rescued from an uncertain and otherwise terrifying fate - manoeuvring its way around a busy street in Scotland.
The pup (yes, that is what baby otters are called) was found alone on a busy street in Inverurie, Scotland earlier this week before a concerned member of the public alerted the Scottish SPCA.
They removed the baby otter from the scene, vowing to look after him until he's old enough to return to the wild.
It is thought that he was separated from his mother due to flooding in the area.

Look at that face.
Just look at it.
For the moment, he will be spending all of his time with the Scottish SPCA's wildlife team, who will no doubt take excellent care of him until he is big and string enough to return to his habitat.
There is no sign as of yet of the cub's mother - but here's hoping that they'll be able to find each other again soon.
