She is one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood and has a young family to run around after so we have no idea when Jessica Alba got the chance to sit down and write a lifestyle book.

But she has. And she has also taken to Facebook this week to show off the first hard copy of it.

 

Jessica Alba posted a snap of herself with her new book.

The Sin City star, who is married to Cash Warren, seemed very excited about the book which is entitled The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You and is due to hit the shelves next month.

She wrote: “OMG! OMG! OMG! I just got my first real hard copy of my book! Share with your friends folks! xoxo.”

 

The book is based around the star's family life.

The book which offers “ways to live naturally and authentically” according to Amazon provides parents with information on diet, style, beauty and family.

It also provides an insight into the mother-of-two’s “personal journey of discovery and reveals her tips for making healthy living fun, real, and stylish, while offering a candid look inside her home and daily life.”

Alba recently launched The Honest Company for parents with entrepreneur Brian Lee and environmental advocate Christopher Gavigan.
