A news anchor who battled breast cancer did another brave thing this week when she took off her wig live on air and spoke about her experience.WMC-TV journalist Pam McKelvy has been wearing a wig since she lost her hair due to chemotherapy but she decided to take it off to reveal her real, short hair.
She explained: “I want everyone to know, no matter what you go through, it’s not about what’s on the outside, it’s how you feel on the inside.”
According to Metro, Ms McKelvy also underwent a double mastectomy and is said to recovering well after her treatment.
