Jack Kavanagh is a 22-year-old from Co Meath and he has overcome all the odds to get to where he is today.
Three years ago while working as a lifeguard, he had an accident and broke his neck.
He is now a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the chest down with limited use of his arms and hands.
Despite this, Jack is not letting anything stand in the way of accomplishing his dreams and he has big plans for this year.

He plans to travel the West Coast of the United States with an important destination in mind, the No Barriers Summit in Utah.
This is a conference attended by people with "extreme disabilities of all kinds, who are defying the perceived limitations of them, every single day by choosing to live within the realm of possibilities.
