If you don't have tissues to hand, now would be a good time to get them.
Ready? Ok.
Just a few weeks ago, The Mia Foundation in Rochester, New York took in a Boston Terrier puppy who suffered from Swimmer Puppy Syndrome. The condition causes a dog's legs to splay outwards, leaving them unable to sit, stand or walk. Most puppies with the condition are put down, as it takes extensive therapy to save their lives. This cutie, however, was in luck. The Mia Foundation agreed to take him in, and named him Mick. This is what's happened just two weeks after he came into their care.
Excuse us, we just got a little something in our eyes.
To keep up to speed, (pun intended), with the lovely little guy you can follow his progress on The Mia Foundation’s Facebook page.
