From culture and history to incredible outdoor experiences, Dublin has no shortage of things to see and do on any weekend away in the city centre.
There's a reason why the city's tourist spots are so popular among visitors to the capital and, if you've never taken the time to explore everything Dublin has to offer, we would highly recommend you do.
With that in mind, here's some iconic Dublin tourist spots you need to visit if you're in the city this weekend...
Phoenix Park
If the weather's in your favour, there's plenty to see and do on a day out exploring Phoenix Park. With over 1,750 acres of park to explore, you could spend a whole day strolling around the park, but it could be a good idea to rent a bike and cycle around too.
There's a few cafés in the park if you want to grab a bite to eat and, of course, there's plenty of space to sit out and enjoy a picnic too. And be sure to keep an eye out for the Phoenix Park deer too, they're not always easy to find but they're definitely worth tracking down!
Visit Dun Laoghaire
With some good weather on the horizon for the weekend, setting out on a day trip to Dun Laoghaire is the perfect way to make the most of the sunshine. Featuring stunning coastal walks and incredible views of Dublin Bay, it would be a shame to pass up the opportunity to spend a warm Saturday exploring everything here.

If you want to fit in a bit of culture, the National Gallery is the perfect place to stop off at. Admission is free, and the gallery has over 16,300 artworks in their collection for you to discover. The collection consists of paintings, prints, sculptures and even photography, so there really is a lot to see here.
The Irish Emigration Museum
If you're interested in Irish history, a visit to the Irish Emigration Museum (EPIC) promises to give you a unique insight into Ireland's emigrants and how they've shaped the countries they've travelled through. The museum will also show you the unique impact that Irish people abroad have had, including their incredible achievements that have changed the world around us.
