All lucky sods heading to EP this year are in for a MAJOR weekend.

But besides spending the weekend scurrying from one favourite music artist to the next (Dua Lipa, Kendrick Lamar and the greatest line-up ever) there are a few other spots entirely worth getting to. 1. The Lake Fingers crossed it’ll be warm, so making the most of Stradbally’s gorgeous lake and dipping your toes really is the perfect way to take in all the surroundings. Chill out among the oak and ash trees, and take a peek at the gorgeous paintings and sculptures dotted about the place. For extra comfort, there are changing rooms to whip on the swimsuits and lifeguards to ensure your safety. 2. MindField and the Finest Charity Banquet MindField is sure to get you thinking (and laughing). If you’re feeling like a good ol’ inspiring talk about the state of the world, live readings of comic favourites and graphic novels with visuals, this might just be for you. Waterford Whispers News is also set to present a news special of their brand new show which premieres in October. Don’t miss out. So head to the Manifesto Stage, The Word Stage and all the great stuff MindField at EP has to offer. Do NOT miss the Finest Charity Banquet within MindField. With the dress code 'Black Tie come Festival Fabulous' we're loving the idea of this stunning five star banquet already. (Don't worry, if you can't nab something fitting to wear, they'll provide.) Tickets cost €120 per person, and with this you'll enjoy a five-course meal that includes Irish salmon gravlax, dry-aged Angus beef, delicious veggie options fit for a queen, AND it's all in aid of Temple Street and Pieta House. 3. Fire Pit Off the charts delicious! If you're looking for great taste and a super satisfying BBQ meal, get yourself to the Fire Pit. They've brought in a US World Champ Pit Master, who will use his expert skills to serve up everything Southern US style fare. Slow cooked beef brisket, cooked ribs and beautifully crunchy chargrilled vegetables. (We'll take some of those please!) 4.GreenCrafts Village These rural craftsmen can create some absolutely stunning stuff – and they’ll show you how too. Learn a traditional craft skill and make something beautiful to take home with you. Think jewellery, wood-work, ceramics, cosmetics, spa products, garlands, and basketry – all made using clean green energy and natural Irish materials. (Hurrah!) 5. Pink Pamper Head towards the JIMI HENDRIX campsite, and by the entrance to the main area, near the showers, you can get yourself extra glammed up. Grab a blow dry, rent a GHD, pop on some falsies and don the braids. They take bookings too, so it might be worth checking out fashionistas.
